The legendary broadcaster was co-host of America’s first hip-hop morning radio show on Hot 97 in New York City and helped introduce hip-hop to an entire generation along with Ed Lover and Dr. Dre (Yo! MTV Raps).   The urban dream team of Ed Lisa & Dre helped make Hot 97 a city institution in the ‘90s. Lisa’s quick wit and vivacious personality was always an intricate part of the show’s success.

Her lively opinions have won her numerous awards and appearances on numerous TV network and cable shows.  For a decade, Lisa was an on-air news reporter for Howard Stern’s news team (Howard 100 News) at SiriusXM Satellite Radio. Her responsibilities included updating news headlines each morning to Howard Stern (live on-air), anchoring news reports for hourly newscasts, covering red carpet events and backstage at America’s Got Talent.

Lisa is currently a news anchor and reporter for iHeartRadio’s news network (NBC News Radio), which can be heard on WOR Radio in New York City, among 800 other affiliates across the country.

Lisa has also taken her creativity to the internet- creating & hosting programs for Nike-New York and Purina.com.

She is also the author of “Sex Lies & Cookies” (Harper Collins).
Lisa has been the recipient of Billboard’s Air Personality of the Year Award, NY Metro AIR Radio Award and was inducted into Hofstra University’s Radio Hall of Fame.  She is also the recipient of the Gracie Award for best local radio host. The “Gracie” recognizes women who have made outstanding contributions in radio and TV.

She is also the Professional In Residence at Montclair State University in New Jersey where she helps guide students in the school's communications department.

Lisa has been a correspondent for REAL TV and E!’s The Gossip Show and has appeared on The O’Reilly Factor, FOX News Channel, Hannity & Colmes, CNN, MSNBC, Headline News, Inside Edition, The Food Television Network, Montel Williams, Geraldo and Ricki Lake.  

She's also  been featured in The New York Times, Cosmopolitan Magazine, The New York Daily News, The New York Post, and New York Newsday.
